It was last time I was up there, got a mate that drinks up there.
They make more from the caravan than they do the front bar.
I do know the land was sold though that also encompasses the servo so I'm not sure what's going on.

Well they should bring back the topless bar staff. ;)

Or was that the Cross Keys tavern....

The Cavan had them too. Remember popping in there once to put a coupla of bets on while my steak sanga was getting made, wasn't really paying attention to anything, ran my tickets thru and the female voice says $20, I looked up and sore a pair of saggy whoppers, whoa!!

North Haven FC used to have titty girls on a thursday night when I was a trainer there.

One of them taught me how to hold a schooner between my boobs once.

That was 25 years ago though.

I remember when I had a Raunchy Girls sticker on the back of my car, was hard work earning those!
Apologies to anyone younger than 45 who has no idea who the Raunchy Girls were,

The good old days at North Haven!
Used to have them on Friday nights there in the summer as well.
Used to get a decent turnout.

Yep not that I was at North Haven, but the days of titty girls are long gone.

Always found it difficult to look the girls in the eyes though!

He cleared out his duties during the day to make himself available.

I thought it was best to not tell my other kids, we met at the gate beforehand, grabbed a beer and went to stand near where the girls run out hoping for my daughter to notice on her way past.

We watched the game with a few beers and laughs, for the first time ever my two sons were together there with me all having a chat.

The lad got into the game as it was close during the last quarter, my daughters team won so we went out on to the oval afterwards where she came running up to me and gave me a big hug, she then gave her newly found brother a big hug and thanked him for coming to watch.

Upon leaving my youngest son gave him a hug too, f*** man, tears flowed steadily on my long drive home, especially having a good chat with my sister.

My words "It's not everyday a 25 year old bloke that you've never met starts calling you dad", parental bliss.

Daughter has been off work for a week for COVID, walks in to my office this morning and says "So dad, are you taking L****** to the Royal Show?"

Another gymnastics comp update for those that care...

So Sunday was a glorious day to be outside enjoying the sun and getting a vital goes of Vitamin D, well not for this intrepid father, no, he decided it would be fantatic to be at 2 different Trampolining/Gymnastics competitions from 8:00am to 5:30pm..

It was the Tiny Miss Jase's first ever Trampolining comp yesterday down at Blackwood, had to be there at 8:00am for general warm up... She has been on the competition Trampoling team for 6 weeks and recorded the following results...

Double Mini Tramp - 1st (the only Level 1 Female competitor)
Individual Trampoline - 1st (actually competed against someone and won)
Synchronised Trampoline - DQ'd ( if you wanted to make a video of how NOT to do something synchronised, you would record their effort)

She was happy though and that's what matters....

Next we head from Blackwood to Marion to the State Gymnastics Centre for Little Miss Jase's Level 5 WAG comp.

It is fair to say that she smashed it out of the freaking park...

Vault - PB - 8.700
Bars - PB - 9.125 and a Bronze Medal
Beam - PB - 9.125 and a Silver Medal
Floor - 8.800.
All Around - 35.750 and the Bronze Medal.

For the Level 5 U10s she came 3rd out of 24 competitors in the All Around (the last comp she came 12th)
For the Level 5 all ages she came 7th out of 109 Competitors (the last comp she came 41st)

It was worth sitting inside all day for those results...

On to State Championships on the 10th - 11th of September for Little Miss Jase...

The Chris Dawson guilty verdict.

Hopefully he can disclose the details before he passes.

Wanted to get to work extra early this morning so I thought I'd see what was floating about in the pantry to heat up for lunch.

I'm currently the envy of every middle aged man in the office atm with the waft of Tom Pipers Braised Steak and Onion circulating.

Yep, Kraft for BS&O, Tommy Piper for Rice Cream.

Used to travel to Moomba with the old man in his truck and he always had plenty of cans of each.

He made his own little portable weber that he'd whip out and cook a huge rump when we stopped at damn on the Strzelecki Track for a rest and dip.

Rice cream! Bloody beautiful stuff. I remember my great grandparents always had a couple of tins in the fridge, Parson’s was the brand I reckon. And on the next shelf was a nice Blancmange.
