Jasper is tracking for QLD landfall a bit lower than that but we’ll see what happens.

I was up in FNQ a few months ago and didn’t get to do my skydive at Mission Beach because the weather was shite, so I have a conflict of interest to make sure it’s still there for my return, hopefully next year. :-*

Funny that you mention that, after going up there the last couple of years and driving through places like Innisfail and staying at Mission Beach, we found ourselves looking back at the cyclone history, like Yasi and Larry.

Fairly resilient mob up there.

By the way, predicting a cyclone in Darwin around Christmas. Not sure how big* ;;)

I used to love the typhoons up in HK

The lightning shows were fantastic

They would hit the ships in the harbour
I asked a Captain, once, whether it did damage to them - he said not to the modern ones but the old ships could sustain damage to their electrics

Missus's bestie lives in Holloway's Beach, high chance they'll get evacuated. Expecting another 1000mm in the coming days apparently, Barron Falls is a sight to behold
