it is probably the cold. cold weather slows down the chemical reaction in the battery, so it doesnt have as much power to start your car. once warm the reaction can happen faster, giving more power and starting the car. sounds like it is time for a new battery.
meanwhile, what sort of car does a car drive????

Oh, that makes sense, thankyou, thought initially it was one of the leads, the fun-police will be laughing at me as she said straight up to buy a new battery, I was using a process of elimination first.

meanwhile, if you didnt want to admit to the fun police that they were right, just tell them that the dodgy lead was not allowing the battery to charge properly, and that the lack of proper charging has killed the battery. if you had just changed the battery the lead would have caused the death of the new battery as well.......
it will sort of allow you to be right, almost...
