Thought it was appropriate to revisit this....

(to the tune of Hey St Peter by Flash and the Pan)

Unley playground was cold and lonely
The fans were all old and grey
The Blues arose high on style
Didn't expect to win today
The Old fart Blue sensed the danger
The danger was a Bulldog dill
His post was trite, same old shite
Changed his name and he's back here again

I said hey hey hey sturtpeter
It's time to post a thread
Hung around the cheer squad clown
So I can swing at a head
So I can swing at a head

Tinpot was out of fashion
That Blue loss was years ago
Yesterday post more slime
His wits are rather slow
Tinpots aliases back up his story
Tinpot is a friend of shame
His post was trite, same old shite
Changed his name and he's back here again

I said hey hey hey sturtpeter
It's time to post a thread
Hung around the cheer squad clown
So I can swing at a head
So I can swing at a head

(ROCKIN SOLO)

(SLOW PART)

Hey sturtpeter
Respond to my uninformed yell
I can't forget that old Blue loss
It's time to give you hell
It's time to give you hell

(CRANKED)

I said hey hey hey sturtpeter
Hey hey hey hey hey strutpeter
Hey hey hey hey hey strutpeter
So I can swing at a head
So I can swing at a

Yes I confess to being a sad 5aa adict now. Only started listening to get some extra footy news from KG and Thingy but then got hooked on the other shows, Sean Perry's is probably my favourite now. We don't seem to get anything like it here...cracking mix of people phoning in...some really funny, some bloody annoying, some really interesting and some you wouldn't want to meet unless they were heavily sedated

hehehehehe yep I agree JAS - I am a 5AA Tragic and Sean Perry is my latest fave too... pity he's now only on Sunday for 6 hours... I find Geoff Burzacott OK but defiintely now as full on as Sean Perry. My fave regular is Mary from Ardrossan - what a scream - woo hoo

sorry now back on topic

:D What the heck...once more off topic can't hurt.

Spot on Lunchie...Mary is great even if it's a bit early here to join her in a few drinky-winkies but also love hearing Lenny (the guy with cerebral palsey) and Margaret (the one Sean is really cheeky with)...they always have me in fits of giggles and brighten up any day  Agree that Geoff is ok. Not sure why but I'm not so keen on Big Bad Bob at the moment and I do miss all the fascinating stuff about Adelaide and SA history that we used to get with Brian Bennetts show. Oh dear guess I'm well and truly hooked now...see if you can guess who the Happy Haggishunter that sends in the occasional email might be

He's on form today...really interrogating poor Adrian Middeldorp at the moment. Perhaps the Yanks could use him at Gitmo to extract info
