Yeah i realised that. I just had the feeling that when he was on here he was over in England teaching in a school and checking out the County cricket scene over there.

He pm'd me not long before disappearing (no connection) to ask the usual 'how did you get into footy' questions. IIRC he said he played cricket at a semi-pro level in the Midlands...maybe the Warwickshire area. Not sure if that's any help

A lot of what got me to this many posts was on those who asked for stat requests, so many thanks to you people. And also, thank you to everyone for encouragement to get to the 5 figures, particularly HOF, mags and thiele with the scores threads. And to everyone else who has made this site the benchmark of overall quailty.
