Adelaide is a magnificent place to live BUT you gotta wonder at times. North South corridor is a priority, the state government get a **** load of money throwen at them [ $850,000,000] and they spend the lot on the BEST, FASTEST,stretch of south road in the city. This is part of the reason why I am part of the wingers brigade. A massive desal plant that we don't need. Half the size and expense would have been just dandy. I have to stop now because the blood pressure is approaching dangerous levels

I think some of your "facts" are incorrect.
BHP are going ahead, heard it first hand, in their boardroom.
Do you really think the state government will knock back a $1.1 trillion project?
There is a reduction in traffic lights on the Superway heading North-South or vice versa.
If on the elevated road there will be NO traffic lights from Port River Expressway to Regency Rd.
Therefore no nightmare at South Rd/GJ Rd intersection, Days Rd or Kateena St
Maybe doing some research will help you get some facts instead of being a typical Adelaidian who despises progress
