Im not taking any drugs. That panadol for a headache thing I said wasnt a joke. It really isnt bothering me. Its a bit uncomfortable, but not painful enough to put strong drugs in my body.

You're doing it wrong. Feign agony and acquire oxycodone.

Keep on top of it. After my surgery I was told this because if I gritted my teeth and put up with it it would affect the healing process.

Once out of hospital I stopped taking the good stuff (endone) and only took panadol strength stuff during the day and endone for night time to get some sleep.

it's great...

And addictive...
I don't take any opioids, including the Codeine in Panadeine and Panadeine Forte, after an experience some years ago when I was taking Di-Gesic for a dental abscess and found myself having a significant withdrawal reaction the the dextro-propoxyphene (synthetic opioid) component when I stopped them after a few days. I did have Fentanyl for surgery in 2010, but was back to Panadol only by next day.

Five weeks into a 7-8 week stint on the sidelines.

does it count if i don't play anymore due to injuries???
knee, then staph infection after knee surgery. 10 days in hospital and had home nurse visits and was hooked up to an antibiotic baxter pump for 3 weeks after discharge of hosp... missed pretty much 2 seasons of footy
Quad was shot for ages. an other leg issues which continued to give me the shits
Broken leg (broke it 2 minutes into first trial), continued leg and ankle pain after which i took pain killers just to get through trainings and games. Came back to soon. won a flag later that year which made things better...
Had to have ankle surgery the following year dues to continual problems... Gave the game up at 27... All that happened in a space of 4 years. :(
