You forget you're in London when....

You're walking down the street and a random guy you've never met recognises you from Adelaide.
You walk into a pub not known as an 'Aussie' hangout and see a girl you know from Adelaide.
You're sitting on the tube and the guy a few seats away starts telling his mate how he lived near the Barossa Valley.
You're on the tube and a guy wearing an Adelaide United FC t-shirt gets on.

This has all happened to me in the past week, and I thought Adelaide was small!

You know when you drive down South, then you go to drive home and the same road you came in on is shut!

Yes, but I found it a bit sweet for my taste, as I did Coopers, while I was in Adelaide last week. I've grown used to Parmalat IC.

A radio station advertises all week the Sunday Sports show will be live from Alberton on Sunday after the Grand final and then doesn't because they lose .What a shame the live O.B. with speakers blaring about the disaster complete with callback callers laughing would have been interesting.Maybe it was cancelled due to OH&S concerns for the suckers that had to attend...Pathetic

No it doesn't. Here the tunnels leak and the bridges threaten to collapse. We drove across on the Western Highway recently and preferred SA's country roads.

When Port Adelaide lose a GF and you get this text on your phone:

A 27 year old man was found drowned in the River Torrens last night, he was dressed in a Port Adelaide t-shirt, fishnet stockings, suspenders and high heels. Police removed the t-shirt so as not to further embarass the man's family.
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.
