Geez did I miss this thread!!!

Favourite by miles West End Draught, pint 1st option, can 2nd especially straight out of an esky on a day like now. Be back in a second while I grab one from fridge.....

Getting partial to TEDs lately, Bintang so far favourite international bier, mind you like price most of all!!

I agree that most over-rated beer award goes to Crown and Corona. Had first Corona ever on Saturday with and without lemon, thought tasted beer without, ended up buying WED's even though Pale Ales and Corona's free at party.

Favourite low carb beer is Carlton Dry, rest give me heart burn.

Nothin better than an icy cold can of WE draught, 2nd TED's 3rd Millers Draught. Agree that Corona and Crownies are over-rated

Whats with all the small town hicks and the WE draught? I'd rather drink my owm waste product than West End.

My fav's : 1. Coopers Pale or Sparkling
2. Boags Premium
3. Hahn Super Dry

My understanding is that a Belgium beer called Duvell has been judged the best in the world. It is a top brewed beer so heavy, however when I tried it I thought it tasted like c rap.
I like the Tasmanian beers - James Boag followed by Cascade. Most overrated IMO Crown larger and the worst tasting VB (the great yobbo beer). Corona without lemon please.

I had something called "Old Preacher" [I think it was] at the Port Dock a few years ago. It wasn't bad, but Dortmunder DB and Asahi DB are still my 1 & 2.

For me it only ever makes any sense at all at the footy. West End, smell of tobacco, pies & footy sends me into some weird Willy Wonka timewarp tunnel of going to the Bay with my dear old pop in the 80s.

Take it out of that environment and WE tastes like dog water.

Best out of bottle

Hahn Super Dry (Keep it super)
Pure Blonde
Pale Ale

Worst out of bottle

West End
VB

Yet i can drink shitloads of West End on tap.
Can't explain it.
Coronas with a lemon goes alright, interesting that the lemon bit came from Mexico(?) to keep the flys away originally, or so i have heard ....

Boags St George is similar, and you dont have to add any fruit to it, its already there! Dont mind it, but easy to get sick of.
Hahn Super Dry is not a bad drop.

boags St George all the way
