I walked in there one night and some chick walked straight up to me and bit me on the neck and wouldn't let go. Definetely an eye-opener.

LOL at some of the places mentioned!

I too am much less out and about, unless mates bands are playing. Cas is always a stop if in town.

Old days, Lennies was a main haunt, as well as Timewarp at the ol Heaven (now HQ).

Used to hit the planet a bit for their cheap drinks.

Also used to hit the Royal (dequetteville Tce) on Thursday nights for their $15 meal deal- Schnitty chips & salad plus all you could drink beer for 2 hours. The last 20 mins would consist of returning to the bar over and over to load up for the rest of the night- our record was having 56 schooners and 3 bottles of champers on our table AFTER the 2 hours were up. Needless to say they changed the rules not long after.

Enigma is good for some air guitar.

Other spots we used to hit were:

The Norwood (now Finn McCools) although a huge taxi fare from O'Sullivan Beach/Christies!

Flinders Uni Tavern
Adelaide Uni Tavern
The Vic

nowadays the biggest sessions I have are on the golf course or at the footy... :(

Did anyone ever go to the old Hackney on Dequet Tce late 80's ... Remember going there as a school kid a couple of times and for $5 or $10 it was all you could drink beer, wine + softies for however many hours ... Great cheap boozeup for those at still at school without much in the old sky rocket.

Joppies downstairs was always my preference ... Lord knows why we used to stay there til the sun had come up - Some of the people you'd leave with were definitely night-time material.

LOL

For someone in his early 30's like your's truly, I think the Pier at Glenelg is good as well as the Casino, the Hilton and Finn McCools (Norwood Hotel)
