Big Shed Brewing is closed today due to storm damage, must of got wild down there

Head in to bottle my Golden Ale tomorrow. She's been sitting for 3 weeks, should be cherry ripe about now.

Fantastic. It's the brew of choice for the two owners of the place and I can see why. Very nice.

Just picked up the following at Auction all are 25kgs

3 amber Malt
1 chocolate
1 munich

Yes, yes indeed. Bit of honey in the aroma, bit of sweetness and a little floral in the taste, fresh crisp lager finish with a hint of honey right at the end. Like this one!

I've done a Brew in September last year of which I still have quite a few bottles of, a coopers lager with maple syrup.
I will do one with honey in future for when a sweet bevvy is needed

I wanted one of the ice bank systems as my glycol system has seen better days but went for a lot more than I thought considering they looked like they had been a bit abused.
Got some fermenting barrels and a drum stand, wanted some 19L kegs but couldn't bid on them online

They only had 50l kegs

Do you know how much the fermenters went for that were sold in a lot of 8?

Currently brewing up a 60l batch of cooper's dark ale, with 3kg malt and 1.7kg choc grains.

Ended up with 51l of choc dark ale.

Also put down 2 Munich lagers

1 had 25g hallertau boiled with the malt for 15mins and another 25g steeped as a hop tea brewed to 21litres

The second was just a plain kit with 1.3kg malt to 19litres
