T&Cs to live your life?!

You were talking in the context of a publicly-funded health system.

I don't have a problem with people conscientiously objecting to vaccinations, I just don't think it's unreasonable to expect that having the Australian taxpayer foot the bill for your medical treatment would come with some basic conditions, such as taking reasonable steps to get inoculated from deadly viruses where safe and practicable, subject of course to any exceptions on medical grounds.

Ok, fair enough, my apologies - misunderstood.

You're forgiven. 8)

At what point does it stop? I already have to abide by social distancing policies, temp screening, wash my hands a billion times a day.. sit down when I drink.. download some stupid "covid safe" app.. complete a bunch of online covid courses just so my cricket/footy clubs can operate.

I wonder what sort of life and world my children and their children will live in the future.

This whole thing is getting out of control.. when (if ever) will we return to 'normal'? Especially in SA, we are dragging this out over what? Fear? Possible outcomes?

As a state we haven't crack double figure cases since 4th April, and most of our cases since then are people who return from overseas, yet restrictions and guidelines are as tight as ever.

I'm dead set over it.

Over what?
Washing your hands and giving people space?

I don’t mind it.

Other than being extremely busy at work it hasn’t effected me much if at all.

Over feeling like there is a set of criteria for everything I do - that I cant invite a certain amount of mates over my house, or restrict how many can attend a wedding/funeral.. that I've got to download an app "for the greater good", that standing to consume beers is somehow a greater risk than sitting... that I've got to sign declaration forms each week, and get scanned every time I walk in/out the building at work, that I can only be in a room for a certain period of time.

"Washing hands and giving people space" is easy, and if that was the extent of it well everyone would be happy - but that's putting it very nicely.

Cant sit at a bar and drink - the only argument I've heard in the affirmative is Wedgie carrying on how much better it is to work with no one sitting at a bar, and the inconvenience of having people sit there... WTF has that got to do with some virus?!

C’mon man things aren’t that bad unless you are planning on getting married or kicking the bucket soon.

I must say not being able to stand at the bar does shit me to tears.

But if there is a vaccine available, then shouldn't impact others if they use it or not?

Kind of like if you choose to speed in your car.. does that mean I should hand in my license coz someone else decides to do 100 in a 60 zone?

Those who want the vaccine will get it, those who don't well who cares.

Well well well possible MANDATORY Vaccines.

To start off at my age I have my flu shot every year no probs at all

For me no way I prefer to wait a little bit longer until all the mandatory guinea pigs have had there vaccines to see what side effects if any.

The flu shot that changes every year?

True these Chineeeeee wogs keep mutating so is it worth it spending billions of dollars for the silver bullet ??????

We had a laugh at the footy last week signs up every where stating

Must be sitting when consuming alcohol .

However if you had a bottle of water coke or what ever it was quite OK to stand and consume.

So we came to the conclusion that

A Covid transmission is caused by consuming alcohol from lofty heights out in the open spaces of the ponderosa.

B Alcohol when consumed at a lower level no transmission

Here's the thing though, those who what it will get it and those who don't won't...Yeah yeah thats as simple as it gets, but say 50% get it and 50% don't. That will stump the community transmission a fair bit. Prob ably be closer to a 75/25 split to be honest.

Will be like flu going forward, the virus will mutate from year to year. Hence it will be a "flu shot" every year.

Like others I get a flu shot, and had the clubs year or so ago and got knock on my ads by it.
