Funny you mention this. My missus brought home some Cashew spread last night. Haven't tried it yet though.

They have.....

and there's another couple too I think. Kraft has started marketing them, including a hazlenut option.

Ferrero had the hazelnut option years ago ...

This is related to the Foo Fighters concert last night, but could be for any major sporting/concert event...

What is the point of getting absolutely sh1t faced at an event like this???? You're paying upwards of $100 for a concert ticket these days, and you're not going to remember it well anyway as your so smashed.

I also don't understand people going to the bars behind the grandstand and lining up for 40 minutes to get 4 beers during the show...

PLus the moron, who tried to bum rush the security guard at the Northern End while Rise Against were on, gets carted out by the Coppers...

Way to waste $100

I really don't understand... Can someone explain?

Maybe I'm just getting old, but when I was a young fella, cash was hard to come by, tickets were cheaper but still, I paid to see a show, not line up for beers etc..

Call me Grandpa Jase now...

So you are one of those fans supporting the band for 20 years sitting down? ;)

Will attempt to post some ok photo's of them on the B Stage as I was with 30m of it just the right of the sound desk.

I saw the scuffle from a far, I was behind the sound desks, just to the right. Close enough when Grohl played the end of the cat walk with the piano accordion player ( I joked with a mate, a wanted ad" Piano accordion player for Stadium rock outfit" ) I was about 5-10m away from them.

Sitting down? No chance....!!

Yep, that's the one. He would have been getting into the van as the house lights went down.

Yeah that was the one, thought he was going to get away but the Security dude wasn't giving up, was a good tackle, I believe that the moron, as he shall now be known, even managed to get his head through the arm hole of his t-shirt during the scuffle, quite an impressive effort.

Then Moron decided to not be helpful with coppers and ended up on his face with knees in his back and neck... Moron...

There was another dude getting dragged out before Rise Against... I just don't understand it...

Oh here's another thing, some silly cow on the Adelaide Now site is complaining about missing Rise Against because she was in the line for a beer... Here's an idea, forgo the beer for a couple of hours and watch the bands...

I'm getting mad now... :)

Made the decision after the Delta Riggs and before Rise Against to take a piss and that in itself was a 15 minute ordeal....

Everyone around me was getting annoyed at the constant stream of people charging past with trays of drinks. Would have spent at least the ticket cost in grog alone

You can make your own nut butters with a good blender or food processor. Just chuck the nuts in and blend away until it becomes a paste consistency.

If you're looking for a relatively healthy dessert try throwing a frozen banana, a couple of tablespoons of almond butter or cashew butter, some honey and cacao powder (or you can use cocoa powder) in a blender. Banana and chocolate soft serve.

Im eating a toasted Cashew Spread sanga right now. Actually pretty delicious! Much different than I expected. Think peanut butter but a bit sweeter.

Does anyone recognize this guy in the grey tshirt? I swear I've seen him on TV or in a band or something, he just seems very familiar to me.

I've asked this before but have 4 guernseys I need framed. Need the best place/price. Area not an issue.
A guy found out through a friend I have one signed by only Jono Brown and Fev and offered me $2K for it.
Think I better frame it with some others. Cheers

Ladywood Frames on Nth East Road. They'll use UV protective glass that prevents signatures from fading.
