Im willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Similar to Hewitt.

If he is 25 and still carrying on then I will rethink my opinion

I never liked Hewitt either, after I had a scuffle with him outside Memorial Drive one year.

We have a habit of producing unpopular tennis players, unless their name is Patrick.

Do we? or do we as a nation now have it against most Aussie Tennis Players that come through with exceptional talent but never seem to achieve what they should? Tomic, The Poo, Stosur, Kyrigos for example. We seem to shot them down very quickly..

Whereas the only tennis players we love are battlers who get the most out of their limited ability eg: Molik, Arthurs & the Woodies who excelled in competitions that no one even cares for??
Didn't they win half a dozen Wimbledon doubles finals? I still don't like them - too nancy.

I think instead of playing a T20 version of tennis, we should follow the Americans lead and have lingerie tennis.

The crowds would come.

Who honestly cares about Wimbledon doubles titles though?? Name some winner since apart from the Bryan Brothers?

Bjorkman :D

Here is a good trivia question for the tennis nuts

There have been two australian grand slam doubles winners since the Woodies last won together. Who are they?

(Not counting Woodbridge with Bjorkman as i have listed it above)

Stosur won a mixed Aussie? God knows who with.

Then I think a Godyosova or something or other a few years back with a bloke I can't remember.

Stubbs won with Cara Black, Stosur with Lisa Raymond, Molik with Mara Santangelo (never heard of her)

In mens doubles though, Lleyton Hewitt has a doubles US open with Max Myrni, as does Stephen Huss, the first qualifier to win a grand slam doubles, With Wesley Moodie

You said :

Since they last won together, so I took it as it being pairs of Australians, not just one Australian and Neville Nobody.

So, what do I win?

2005 - Stosur and Draper Aussie Open Mixed Doubles

2013 - Gajdosova and Ebden Aussie Open Mixed Doubles

( Confirmed names from some research )

since the woodies last won together.

I put that in because was discounting Woodbridge with Bjorkman, after Woodforde retired, as i had already listed that.

I was trying to get you to name Hewitt, but then i also realised Stephen Huss had also won one

A hot shot sales manager left his safety boots next to the toilet door as he stopped for a wee before heading out to see a customer and do a factory tour.
I hope he checks his boots before he puts them on as they both contain a very soft ready to explode lemon near where the toes go.
