Bit off topic, but with the Rolf thing...what was the age of consent in the UK in the 80's?

I know other countries it was 14ish around that time.

I found this link for Australia.

For example, the marriageable age in Australian states and territories was the same as the age of consent: 14 for men and 12 for women.
