And gee weren't you sick after you brought a 20 c big of lollies at the General Store, not too mention you found out you had LOTS of friends, even those who didn't want to play with you at recess and lunch at school....

I thought I was king of the world when I bought $2 of mixed lollies at the local deli. Had to carry the bag all the way home with two hands! That was late 80s.

Exactly the same for me though was 79-86, first year of high school was 87...

Primary school canteen had frozen fruit boxes in summer, never managed to get through one of them without breaking the stupid plastic spoon they gave you...

High school canteen was pretty good, except they had carob drops instead of chocolate drops... That was uncool...

My lad was in the Green team for Sports Day last year, this year he's in Yellow. Apparently all the kids change teams each year - WTF is up with that? Is that common practice?

He should have completed his Wiggle training by the time he reaches year 3.

At my primary school which i went to Craigmore South starting in 88, we use to swap team colours every year. Either red, green, yellow, blue, white.
