Bottle shops open because of health advice :D :D

Hotels SA went into meltdown yesterday arvo and bombarded them with calls.

They were initially on the "closed" list.

Obviously that is the reasl reason but she just stated that they were opened on health advice. It wouldve created more health issues if the alcoholics wernt able to get their drug of dependence

Not as feisty as the telly, though - although probably gets close. ;)

I loved the Ron Casey one.

I was watching that as it happened. Ron Casey, what a weapons-grade wanker.

******* crazy shit at the moment. Spurrier is that far out of her depth now it's not funny.

I've said this from the start
There are highly qualified people who say she's been elevated above her ability
You only need to actually listen to what she is saying to realise that she's not up to it. Her comments are full of holes but none of the media have pulled her up about it. This mornings press conference was the first time these people have been pressed about the flawed management of this situation

I reckon the old man had it on back in my day too, would've had Sale of the Century following it, Sunday night was the weekly M*A*S*H ritual along with 60 minutes then the Sunday night movie if I went un-noticed.

Thanks for those job figures.

Unbelievable, it is abunduntly clear that it takes more than just touching a surface from an infected person or crossing paths with an infected person for you to contract "Covid".
Anyone remember the App that was rolled out? That app only classed you as an at risk, close contact if you were within 1.5m of an infected person for at least 15minutes.
The release of this myriad of places these infected people have frequented is nothing more than a scare tactic and you people are swallowing it whole

We dont expect the workers to isolate, we just expect the government to ******* test them on a regular basis like they do the less at risk truck drivers.

Is it even Covid if it has a 3 day life span, cmon people wake up ffs

I like Grant Stevens .... he mostly remains calm and his messaging is consistent. He did get irate this morning when continually pressed that all people who support the Medi Hotels should be isolated. The SA police dept, to date, have been very level headed in the way they have policed restrictions. That said, I think the people who support the Medi Hotels should be tested more regularly than one week, but that is not a police decision.

In all seriousness though if we absolutely all in on ensuring public safety should people who support the Medi Hotels not also stay at the hotel for the length of their employment there. Pay them a mint like you do FIFO workers and the risk would be significantly negated.
