hope there isn't any pedophiles out there

HOF - don't warry about them, PEDophiles are interested in feet, PAEDophiles like kiddies.
The tendency for eastern Australia to adopt US spelling, and spell checkers to install US English by default, causes confusion, but Pes Pedis is Latin for feet, while "Paed-" is the Greek language root for children.

I guess I'll come out - and risk my opinions being written off as those of an old codger. I am 64. [My mother died recently at 98.]

In fact my opinions are still changing with time and experience, just as they always did - I'm probably less big "C" conservative than I was 25 years ago. It may be second childhood beginning, as I voted for Gough Whitlam in 1972, which could mean I'll be a socialistic kid again in another 15 years, having gone full circle.

[PS: posting today using Konquerer on a KDE4 Live DVD distro - I'll comment on it in "IT" when I have played with it for a while.]

I'd already written you off as an old codger. Don't worry, with all your money I'm sure you can afford a nice nursing home.

Yes, I could, but I'm hoping to not need one until I'm well into my 90s like my mother! :)
Perhaps then I'll buy one and make sure I like the staff..

As I predicted.
Only the very young think age explains anything. [Lots of young people voted for John Howard, for example.]
My values were as different from the average in the late 1970s as they are now. I remember being called a "fascist" for positive comments about Mal Fraser, who was left wing of Bob Hawke, looking at it in retrospect. And I copped flack for buying property in my 20s while my peers "partied" in the style of the time.

Good on you then. Have you gone on from that very sensible start?
I've thrown the odd party too, but like you, and unlike some others, it wasn't all I did!

38 - with 19 year old twins (boy and girl), 16 year old Son and 9 year old daughter.

So even though I am not that old, I have plenty of excuses as to why I look it.

Tupperware contains some chemicals that Alexander Downer doesn't approve of.

He made me a cup of tea.
