Boarders still Dec 1, and Community sport back Dec 1.

Caps on pubs gone from Dec 1, subject to QR codes.
1 per 4m2 indoors (seated).
1 per 2m2 outdoors (standing)

Private capts on private functions remain at 150.

Households restricted to 10 still.

These restrictions to be lifted approx Dec 15.

One thing that will trip up a number of sports clubs is the QR Codes.

I was working under the assumption these were going to be for places with a Covid Management Plan (ie: places with 1000+ guests, commercial and licensed venues), however the commissioner today repeatedly said Covid Safe Plans.

Given recreation (sport) is a defined/prescribed activity, all clubs must have a covid safe plan, and by extension will now be required to display QR codes and allow people to check in, etc.

I think some clubs will miss the fact they are expected to update their plans and display the QR codes.

I also think that clubs might get it done at their primary venue, where there are club rooms etc, but will struggle to display the QR code to be scanned at secondary venues, especially for teams playing out of the parklands where the only facilities they have is the tree they huddle under!!!

At home, 10 people, dancing allowed.
At a public venue, inside - no, must be seated, no restriction on number of people other than 1 per 4m2 rule.
At a public venue, outside - yes, can stand and drink, with the 1 per 2m2 rule in play.
At a public venue hosting a private event. 150 people max, and the above m2 rules. Yes, you can stand and drink, both inside and out.

Clear as!
