Double that if you count indirect industries associated with horse racing.
I worked for a computer software company in 2001 and one of our clients was
Ansett. Say no more.

I don't like Horses, and I don't gamble YET this thing is a bloody terrible thing to happen...
I hope all is fixed soon and the 90-95% of people who are normal people, working their
guts out to make a living, get the assistance that will be needed...

On the bright side think of all that money not being bet on horse racing that can now go to lower priorities like feeding the kids! :wink:

Easy to see I'm not familiar with the set up! I've made 3 bets [on the Melbourne Cup] in my lifetime all at a TAB outlet.. :lol:

Noticed that. I'm a life member of the show society and am planning to come over and use my free tickets this year. My wife will miss the tent-pegging she likes to watch, and I always enjoyed Polocrosse.
