Arrest/Report – PCA/DUI
Waikerie Police reported a 28yr old Redwood Park man when he was initially detected speeding at 137kmph on the Sturt Highway, WAIKERIE. He then returned a positive breath analysis of 0.153% and was issued with a 12 month on the spot licence disqualification.
A short time later the same person was then arrested when he was detected speeding again along Sturt Highway at 123kmph, and returned a positive breath analysis of 0.143%. He was also arrested for disobeying the direction given by Police, not to drive. As a result he was issued with a further 6 month disqualification notice and conveyed to Berri Police Station. He is to appear in the Waikerie Court at a later date.

On the spot license disqualification means you legally cannot drive, but the car is still there it's yours etc, so if you drive it away you'd then be charged for driving whilst disqualified...
Righto then, what's worse driving like that DH, or not taking away the offending weapon of choice which is this DH car...
If you're that pissed, take the bloody car too IMO. Give them the car back after the license suspension is over.

And yet if you excessivly rev your engine at the lights or something just as lame, the police can impound your car on the spot for 24hours, no proof or evidence required!

Australia is getting older and the cops are doing what the law makers are telling them to do. Look at John Howard he should retire but I dun rev my engine at lights cause i love my car and i dun want it impounded.
