what is the best tasting beer???

I think Coopers Sparkling Ale, great drink to have on hot days.

Was raised on Greene King I.P.A. as the brewery is what was home town and it will always be a favourite but I've now tried Coopers Pale Ale and I'm a convert...love it

how much does a slab set you back JAS in that neck of the woods?

I haven't been able to find anywhere up here that sells slabs...yet . Until recently I was able to buy Coopers from my local Tesco supermarket for £1.30 for a 375ml bottle...I think that's about 3.20 $Aus. Unfortunately they have stopped stocking it now...obviously I wasn't drinking it fast enough Must admit I was amazed to find it around here at all.

A thoroughly wonderful member of the Redlegs forum has put me onto the possibility of having a go at homebrewing my own supply...still under consideration at the moment For now I have a stash of about a dozen bottles so I'm strickly rationing myself

$3.20 a stubbie good value. Also can't go past the homebrew version follow the instructions on the can and you will think it was straight from Regency Park.


My old man is a member of the drinkers club or what ever its called and in the mag they send out, readers regularly send in messages of its availability south of your region (more precisely London ) perhaps an email to Coopers to point you in the direction of your nearest stockist could be an option if its nearby

Thanks for that...I believe my fellow Leggies supporter is also a member. He kindly emailed Coopers for me and they replied with an address in Glasgow as their official distributor. All I have to do now is try to find some space...I live in a 4 room cupboard and although I know a homebrew kit doesn't take up a lot of space...my appartment really is that small.

A lovely drop from Spain called Ahlambra, followed very closely by Coopers Pale Ale.

In order of preference,

1 Coopers Sparkling Ale,
2 Crown lager,
3 Dab.

I did notice you have it with or without, WCP. Which means you like the actual beer. A lot I know only drink it with a slice of lemon or lime which makes me question the quality of the beer.

Corona is an ideal beer to have with a meal (with or without lemon/lime!!!)
Boags St George is similar, and you dont have to add any fruit to it, its already there! Dont mind it, but easy to get sick of.
Hahn Super Dry is not a bad drop.

Beer in general tastes icky... however if its a REALLY hot day, my amber liquid of choice is Pure Blonde or a Crownie.

If anyone ever gets a chance, try MOO BREW.. another Tassie beer sensation...
