Frank Costanza: Many Christmasses ago, I went to buy a doll for my son. I reached for the last one they had, but so did another man.
As I rained blows upon him, I realized there had to be another way.
Cosmo Kramer: What happened to the doll?
Frank Costanza: It was destroyed. But out of that a new holiday was born: a Festivus for the rest of us!

Frank Costanza : The tradition of Festivus begins with the airing of grievances.
I got a lot of problems with you people.

We do the fellow attendees. BYO list is compulsory. But the same people have the same things. (barrack for Port, etc.)
Are contemplating putting generic ones in a hat and having a random draw this year.

you do realise that
Festivus does not end, until you have been pinned during the
Feats of Strength?

We have actually skipped this part ion the past (after much discussion)
Maybe because one of the other blokes has a black belt in martial arts.

I'd like Festivus a bit more if it wasn't for the tinsel.
VERY distracting.
