Christmas Eve

Im amazed how quiet it is out there today on the roads, only exception being our local shopping centre which has more cars in the car park than Ive ever seen.
Went out at 8am to get a couple of kilos of prawns and there was hardly a car on the road.
Went over to Target for a couple of last minute Christmas pressies just after 9am and walked straight in, bought my gifts and got straight out.
I think Tuesday is the best day for Christmas as most people will have today off meaning they've had 3 days in a row to get things ready.
Wont be as good next year as most people will work the one or 2 days before Chrissie.

Anyway, got my prawns, got my pressies, just need to get my beer so might head down the pub for a couple of quiet ones this afternoon when there. :D

Spare a thought for those of us that are stuck here at work until 6pm tonight, meaning no last minute shopping for me :(

I'll have to get my wife a job other than as a director of mine - she gets to go shopping whenever she likes.

Seriously, she is not bad - I let her lose on her own in Paris with a gold VISA card a few years ago and it didn't turn out too bad.

locky might be one of the few who has a legitimate reason for keeping his eyes peeled on the activities on Hanson Road. Not to say he doesn't enjoy it though
