UK journalism at it's finest.

Mind you, whilst the "Scottish Sun" is a fine read, it's also a meteorological oxymoron.

A bit of loose change in the ashtray should cover it.

I actually got a bit scared looking at the photo's, how noisy do you think that house is during the night?

What's meant to be so scary about it?

It seems eerie.

The bit that makes me laugh? Imagining the face of the person whose job it is to wank off the bulls, knowing (s)he has to do it all over again...

We've had a couple of new blokes start in the factory, to put it diplomatically they are first generation new Australians.

They haven't really got a handle on the processes and expectations of working in a factory environment, not yet anyway. You know, start at 8 so be here at 7:45-7:50, clock in before 8 ( we have time cards / clock ) and be ready to work at 8, not fly into the car park at 7:59 and clock in at 8:00 on the dot, or 8:01....

I had a chat with them both yesterday afternoon, both of them were a little taken back, they conversed in the native tongue of their parents in front of me before I had finished and when I asked them what they had discussed they wouldn't tell me. No problems, but I wouldn't want to see it again. No law against it, but I made them understand it's not something I would see as acceptable.

Anywho, lunch time today and the buzzer goes to end lunch just as Uber Eats arrives for one of the boys, the Uber guy comes into the office just as the young lad comes in, he looks at me like "My lunch is here".

"I guess that's dinner tonight mate"

A couple of the old fellas (bowls club members) at the Barefoot bowls last night suggesting I should sign up. “We’ve got a spot for you in the 4ths”.... Thanks chaps but I think I’ve got a season or two of cricket left in me yet!

Mind you I can see myself having a roll in a few years time for sure.

Whether just playing socially or competitively bowls is a great sport. Played night owls for 25 years and loved it. Great social aspect too

I agree. I’ve had a go before and enjoyed, only socially. Think it would be good to get involved in when I retire. Can see Mrs C playing too so from that perspective I can see plenty of benefits.

I’d always planned to suit up for pennants but unfortunately have a few issues with my walking these days so had to give it away

Like all clubs, usually meet and make some great mates

I'd rather buy the car in the carport (pic 29).

Seriously, it's a bit of a shambolic house (interior). It's decent in part but horrible in other parts. You think they'd get rid of the 'horror' stuff but then I suppose, we're talking about it aren't we? So it's done it's job to draw attention to itself.

True That. $4.40 a tin of Carlton Draught, I'll drink to that, and did so!
