I've had my eyes on a car, in Sydney, that I've wanted for some time, I would swap my old Falcon for it, it's a 1983 XE Fairmont, what I've always wanted as my weekender / boy toy. It's mint, really good condition, dropped, just what I want.

I'm valuing mine, conservatively, they've got a value on theirs. My thoughts, I send them my car and $2000-3000 and they send me the Fairmont.

They think I need to send them the XT and $10,000!!!

No deal.

I've never understood how swaps of any sort work out, probably even more complicated when you add cars into the mix.
