I've never been a cat person, however, Archie is growing on me, literally, I sit anywhere and he's on my lap.

He's also made his way into our room on the foot of our bed at night, that doesn't make me laugh and that's another story, but, Miss Boon constantly sends me rescue dogs to consider.

Right at this point there's no way a new dog would work in our family unit, with 4 people working during the day the dog would be home alone for some considerable hours, if it's hyperactive it would be destroying our recently updated outdoor area or if in the grassed part of the yard digging out to freedom. It just won't work.

Had an exchange with Miss this afternoon.

Images of dog arrives, 2 year old beagle who is "overly excitable" has "bad manners" and needs "lots more training", errr, no.

"Sorry" I say, "It's not going to work for us, you know that"

"It will never work until you're 70 and retired"

"You think you're living with me when I'm 70?!?!?" [emoji38]
Get a greyhound.... they love to be alone, sleep a fair chunk of the day, need a walk once or twice a week... absolutely perfect for working a family

Our neighbor across the road adopted one, Angus, he was pretty yappy/whiney when they first got him and left him home alone, he's settled and has been ok over the last few months.

I'm the same, the better half wants another dog, I said no. We are too busy and the only way we could get one is if one of us took a months leave to train it adequately.

If I get the job Im up for at the moment, I might get a dog, since Ill have two weeks at home to train it between finishing and starting.

Mrs HH3 wants a golden retriever and I want a sausage dog.

Do the cats get a vote?

I'm pretty sure they'll say neither

I said under no circumstances would any house of mine have a cat, yet we've had one for about 5 years now #-o

She's grown on me a bit, but still prefer dogs (but sadly thats not option as we don't have any lawn in the backyard after putting in a pool and paving all around it)

Glad I wasn't the skipper on the other side!

Craigmore "B" made 245, not great but something to bowl at.

North Eastern Knights "A" opener slaps 275 off 297 balls with 34 x 4's and 13 x 6's on the way to 5/488.

And he's a forumite!!

245 will win you more games than you'll lose at that level.

New Zealand has been taken over by Lime Scooters! Spent 3 nights in Auckland and they are a menace. Down in Christchurch now and the are everywhere. Can’t understand why they don’t do like the Aussies, and throw them in the local river!

They're everywhere in Brisbane CBD, they're great for pub crawls in a hilly city. Didn't see any dumped anywhere.
