i was just flicking through everyones names on the members list and saw that SAFOOTY is coming up to its 2000th member, SAFOOTY is currently on 1991 members. Thats a great milestone and well done to everyone involved with SAFOOTY. The advertising has been superb because every time i go on here the members and the number of posts just get bigger and bigger. Well done SAFOOTY!.

We'd actually have over 5000 if I acitvated everyone that registered but we have a strict policy of only activating people who use dodgy emails like hotmail or yahoo if they contact us. Helps keep the morons and spammers out but the occasional moron still slips through the net.

I'm sure you meant the start of the Eagles Football Club. That, and the '91 GF, are the only things I can think of that were important in SA footy that year.

Stats would be interesting where they can be established - eg
SA, interstate, overseas
gender
age profile
number of 'readers' who peruse but dont post, whether they have O posts or aren't registered at all and get captured in the hits

Who will be new member 2008 in 2008? Better get a bun organised for that one Wedgie.

It might just be the way I read it.. I read it say that you only activate those people who have dodgy emails like hotmail and yahoo.

Read the WHOLE sentence and it makes sense. Read the half you highlighted and it doesn't....

At least Im not alone

Obviously a few people have a few issues with their PC if they fail to see the 4 words of the sentence in question.

Putting a NOT in the sentece would mean the opposite to what its suppose to mean.

People with dodgy email addys DO get acitvated IF they contact me.

People with normal email addys don't have to contact me, they get activated automatically.

It's not rocket science. It means exactly what it reads.

Sheesh!

SJABCs spot on the money, all you have to do is read the entire sentence. Thank you SJABC, good to know the education system is working somewhere out there.
