Must be the Mitsi's/Chrysler connection.Heard rumour that they still own Mile End site. 9used to be the press shop and cranes still visible and used as spare parts at Tonsley Park until just 7 year ago.

It's just the old North Adelaide site that people are complaining about.

Nothing to do with the North Adelaide site. That already has a new development approved (about 18 months ago), and just waiting for it all to get started there.

the residents of North Adelaide are never happy about anything (despite the fact they're lucky enough to have the world's best footy team to support), if they had their way, they'd practically be Amish.

They were unhappy, so its been scaled back to just a 2 storey building. Typical Adelaide, cant build anything without bowing down to the do gooders.

Why are people that prefer two story buildings classed as do-gooders?

Weren't they the same people that were complaining that the Adelaide Oval lights would fade their curtains ?

Because they are the same people who have complained about EVERYTHING built in the area for many years.
