There are alot of un-organised people out there,so i thought i'd start this. Does anyone know of any bottle-o's or pubs open apart from the casino on Good Friday??
I know Shenanigans is open because I saw it on St.Pattys day when I was there for a breif moment.

 OMG...are you saying that your bars and shops selling alcohol close over Easter. If they tried that here there'd be riots. Easter is the start of the tourist season so everything opens up especially pubs and DIY stores

Not on Good Friday now you've told her that...

Been many years since I wasn't organised, about 16 years ago, businesses on the airport were able to sell grog. I recall a drunken drive with mates from Golden Grove to the airport to buy fresh stocks. Bloody stupid idea, but we had fun all the same.

Thank god for that...would have thought it very unAussie to close pubs

Hopefully the trip will be in a year or so. Have to try and tie in trips to SA and Qld. Saving furiously and always searching for a free hitman to sort out the aged parent

You could always get together and start an SAFooty homebrew club to avoid this dilema...a network of sheds throughout SA filled with beer...secret knocks and passwords

I reckon I have enough good wine and spirits stored in the house for about 3 months normal consumption.

I just noticed the Russian Diamond Vodka is in with the organic drinking chocolate which is a bit odd - I must have left it on the kitchen table. It's the only vodka I have met that has a balanced flavour so you can sip it and enjoy it straight, like a Cognac or a good Whisky.

Ive got plenty of paleys and URLs if anyone wants to buy some booze at ridiculously high prices.

Mind you, after the amount I had last night I don't think I'll be running out in a hurry today. :(
