I have read a lot of Flak lately.

What a Fabulous Project.

Our Ship building is in its Youth.

We must learn to crawl before we can walk.

We must never give up to buy other nations ships.

The only way to be better than the rest is to make mistakes and learn by them.

Then incorperate the learning into the next design.

Do you think USA will sell us their latest Naval or Air Force designs...?

Complete with computerised systems..?

We must develop our own and become better than the rest...

They have a big gun* so we need a bigger one*?

The world will be a better place when all arms are laid to rest.(I know I am dreaming)

I'm in favour of our own independent military and nuclear deterrent so we don't become "South Irian" eventually, but I am inclined to skip large ships and aircraft carriers and submarines - all the high status stuff - in favour of lots of very fast patrol boats and aircraft and a really good guided missile system.

At times I wouldn't mind my own nuclear deterrent in the back yard, but as a former Fencer I rely on my small sword collection.

Iran? Do the words North Korea mean anything to you? If we did have nuke program, we'd want to do a better job than we did with the CC subs!
