Anyone else see the story about old Fritzy with his family in the basement?

It sounds as though he was so completely deranged/sick and tired of the whole thing, that when the girl was admitted to hospital and he decided to bring Elisabeth up out of the dungeon,he calmy introduced his above ground family to the below ground group as easliy as you could possibly imagine.

Ol' Frizty will go down in time as a monster of the highest order.

Terrible story of course, but the 60 Mins item gave no new insight and rehashed what was covered in the media weeks ago.

Exactly what I thought. Just a cheap attempt to get people tuning in.

For me there are strong parallels with the case of Fred and Rosemary West.

They had been experiencing 'diminishing returns' from their crimes and had explored everything there was to explore which eventually leads to a subconcious (and sometimes deliberate decsion) desire to be caught. Another parallel is the 'she must have known' angle of Mrs. Fritz. In the West case this was the title of a book about Rose's level of involvement in the House of Horrors from Gloucester.

Add me to this list as well. Other than interviewing a few new faces to Australian audiences, the rest was just "re-enactment" vision. What a joke.

The story about the NT property owners was far more interesting in comparison terms.
