Bloody idiots, its a shame that the train drivers would go through so much trauma if morons like this were weeded out of the gene pool.
Being a train driver must be a shocking job when things like that happen.

Yes, over the years I've seen a few train drivers with Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, after fatal incidents as that one may have easily become.

adult are worse than kids. I have seen this watching them as my dad is a train driver and my job as a signaller. They don't look they just run across the crossing with booms down for a train that they think is theirs.

Had to catch the train to school all during high school.

Needless to say a week didn't go by when something ALMOST happened at either Salisbury, Chidda or Parafield...

I grew up across the road from the gawler train line between broadmeadows and Womma stations. Playin in the side drain and on the tracks was a daily thing for me and my brothers, but never were we so stupid to go anywhere near a train when it was coming.

I had the same experience in the region of the Ovingham and North Adelaide railway stations

I couldn't put up with that on a regular basis it would be terrible to be a driver that is involved in an accident with someone crossing the train/tram line at the wrong spot.

There are DH's like that everywhere...almost justifies having a cull to clean the gene pool...at least that would spare the drivers any more trauma. At least road drivers can try to take evasive action when morons play chicken...other than braking all a train driver can do is watch and pray...I couldn't imagine how awful that must be.

Look how close this f***wit got...
