Huge final round of SANFL this weekend.

Every position from 2nd-9th can change  congratulations to the Eagles on the Minor Premiership and Norf on the wooden spoon, they made it theirs from a long way out.

Every game can change a final ladder position, 3 of the games will effect the make up of week one of Finals.

Pretty exciting finish to a good season. Will be a good weekend of footy. 8)

nah, possibly 86 or thereabouts as the state bank building is only in construction and it opened in 88.

Damn, I was going 86 but thought the station wagon commodore looked like a later model, and there appears to be an early model camry.

When did the building that is now the Intercontinental Hotel open? That looks 75% structurally complete and I used to work for someone that was on that project and by 1990 was starting his own business.

i tried to look it up. All I could find was on wiki and it said the Hyatt opened in 89, which makes no sense but it also says that the Telstra building opened in 87 and there's clearly no sight of it in the above pic, not even a crane within coeee of the black building so I"m not sure.

there are 3 sets of cranes too in the above pic, the lot on the left are building the state bank, the lot in the middle are building the Hyatt...but what are the lot on the right building?

The Tafe college in light square maybe?

Also the Creswell stand is still standing at Adelaide Oval. Think the replacement Bradman opened in 89/90 also?? Remember the old man taking me there on the old Shield $1 entry fee days. He likes to sticky beak at old & new buildings around the place because he works in the industry.
