I'm a bit fussy when it comes to bread for sandwiches and I rarely find anything that remains fresh enough after a day or two but got some of this the other day and we'll never buy anything different again.

Na, a loaf a day, worse during school holidays, worse 10 times more after I get my Christmas leg ham, I have to slice that up like crazy every night as we all live off ham, tomato and cheese sanga's til it's gone.

Only I slice the Christmas ham, I buy it & only I can slice it, Let the animals cut it once looked like the cat gnawed the end.

Let the minister of war get the ham once, bought a shoulder, straight to the next doors dog.

'' I don't need you to tell me how ****ing good my coffee is, okay? I'm the one who buys it, I know how good it is. When Bonnie goes shopping, she buys shit. Me, I buy the gourmet expensive stuff because when I drink it, I want to taste it''

I get a full leg from work usually a week or two out from Christmas, I don't succumb to getting my own any sooner as we are all chomping at the bit for it when it comes and live on it.

I know what you mean about allowing access to others, I'm better off slicing a heap, half makes it to the container as either I'm scoffing it or hands quickly snatch pieces as they are cut, I've seen their efforts.

What gets me is that it's available all year round but is ignored until Christmas.

We also get a big turkey tomorrow, stupid me gave away my deep freezer and I doubt whether it's going to fit in my freezer now with the rest of the stuff in there.

I've heard of people doing that, I might give it a go, the kids live on toast so there's no point worrying about their bread.

I'm a huge mustard pickles on toast fan, pretty sure we all traded some uses last year on here.

The look on my lads face this morning when we told him he made the Association side for the SAMCA u12 cup for a week of cricket in January, we were sure he wasn't going to make it and we were preparing him for the disappointment of him being cut, great parenting!

We then have a look at the program and there is a game at Two Wells FFS

Well done to him, my lad is in the 14's, we have the trip to Mitchell Park although I can't get time off for it.

Two Wells aint that bad mate, you'd probably rather that than negating Main North Road in the morning, plus there's ample shade and a great place to watch cricket, leave some room in your stomach to visit the bakery across the road from Two Wells Oval, well worth it.

Junior Jase senior getting back from his schools Cambodia trip on Thursday, been over th here for just under two weeks since the end of school... from the little amount of contact we have had with him he has had a great time... seen some horrible (but important stuff) such as the Killing Fields, land min mine museum and Centre 21 (which the Khmer rouge used as a torture centre.)

He has also been able to work in the school that has partnered with our school here and got to visit our sponsor child and her family....

Though he did dive into a pool with my phone in his pocket on the first day so that is a bit of a pain in the arse...

It'll be good to have him back though...

Sounds great Jase, I can relate to some of your feelings as my daughter is currently exploring next door Vietnam, had a homestay with a family two days ago and yesterday was exploring viet cong tunnels. Doing the full country from south to north.
She did Europe last year, I'm amazed at her ability to save money as a full time student. I couldn't do it at her age on a full time wage!

I'd never thought of it either, until I got married. Apparently it's all the rage in North America.

The thing I like about it is that when you quickly zap it for 30 seconds in the microwave, it doesn't have that weird taste that it often does after being in the freezer.
