Due to school work I limit my kids to 12-15 hours a week

They throw heaps of hours at her on Sundays as it's time and a half and she'd be on the cheapest level, probably scores $200 on Sundays alone.

Her grades haven't slipped and she's probably still working less hours than what her weekly cricket commitments were.

Sunday is x 1.85 in retail I think which really helps kids earn a lot. I hope she is being sensible with it, unlike I was at that age

I reckon she's on 1.5 on Sunday's, could be wrong though.

Yep, I told her to waste her first few pays on shit that she'd never usually buy for herself then learn to appreciate watching her bank balance grow and set little milestones of how much she wants in there at the end of each month.

She dislocated her knee playing European Handball a couple of weeks ago and she's off to Melbourne next week for a national volleyball tournament so she's hasn't been able to work lately, it's been a valuable lesson for her.

2018 marks 50 years of service of the P-3 Orion aircraft for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). To celebrate this significant capability milestone, and to acknowledge the enduring connection and support of the Adelaide community to RAAF P-3 service over the last 50 years, up to four AP-3C Orion aircraft from No. 10 Squadron at RAAF Base Edinburgh will conduct a formation flypast over Adelaide on Friday 30 November 2018.

After departing RAAF Base Edinburgh at approximately noon, the aircraft will proceed along the coast from Outer Harbor, tracking over the southern suburbs, Adelaide CBD, Adelaide Hills and then the northern suburbs, before returning to Base at approximately 1.45pm. The flyover will be conducted at a height of no lower than 76 metres (250 feet) above terrain and at a speed of approximately 390km/hr (210 knots).

Approximate timings for the flyover are as follows:

Outer Harbor – 1226
Noarlunga Jetty – 1235
Mt. Lofty – 1250
Hope Valley Reservoir – 1300
Regency Shopping Centre – 1258
King William St - 1257
Adelaide Airport – 1305
Torrens Outlet – 1306
Outer Harbor – 1310
Elizabeth Shopping Centre – 1313
Gawler Airfield – 1315
RAAF Edinburgh – 1345

Upon return of the Orion to RAAF Base Edinburgh, a RAAF P-8A Poseidon aircraft from No. 11 Squadron will perform a handling display over the Base precinct at approximately 1.50pm to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of P-3 Orion operations and to acknowledge new capabilities.

At Woolies it is:

1.5 X on Saturdays

Extra for after 7pm, even more for after 12am and public holidays.

Went out the back for a look, they went straight over the top of my house :). Seems there was one missing, only 3 in the formation.
Will be sorry to see them go, nice looking aircraft with some character, to be replaced with a bland 737 derivative.

Early finish.
Went down to check out the Mclaren Country Butcher, as they pop up on my FB care of the Mrs cousin sharing it.

Great service. Gave us a slice of the xmas hams that will be ready next week.... delish

Picked up a bbq pack for tomorrow night and 2kg of chicken schnitzel for those midweek dinners.

And a chook that is currently roasting.

Saw the Orions when I was at the airport...quite a view!

I got used to those things tearing overhead when I was working at Edinburgh. Got to the point where I would barely register the roar as one went past. Was always singletons though; never several in formation.

And something I rate: working at home, making it easy to get to the pub for happy hour. Goodness, is that the time...

Was lucky enough to be on base again today. They are still quite a majestic old aircraft

It is a great story, you also wonder if the CA media team are pushing it very hard to try and recapture some public sentiment towards the team.
