Had a spot of day surgery yesterday and for an hour or so sat next to a bloke named Alfred, a 90 year Pommy ex-Pat. Ripper bloke, had all his marbles and told me plenty of story’s from his time in the Air Force back home, the air drops they were making during Cold War particularly interesting.

Nothing worse then getting stuck next to someone who wants to whinge the whole way through a life story you’re not really interested in, but on those rare occasions you jag someone decent with a great story to tell it’s bloody brilliant!
