Had our 6 year old niece and 4 year old nephew over last night while the wifes brother and sister in law had number 3.

Great fun with the two little ones, nuggets, movie, popcorn, reminds you of busier yet more wholesome times with little kids about.

And just makes you realise that all of us have a duty to leave them a good place to live in. Perhaps we should strive for leaving them a better place.

I love it when my two eldest grand children come over and say Papa can we plant something in the garden. They just love to push a few seeds in and love to water (even if it's raining). I love to tell them when it's in flower or we are eating whatever we planted that this is what they did. I really feel for children who do not have a backyard to play in and explore.

I guess I rate public parks, playgrounds and good infrastructure.

Does the owner know you have sold it? ;)

I need a weekend to get over the weekend! Man they sap the energy. Great fun but just relentless.

The little bloke loves me (I'm pretty fond of him if I'm honest) and as most 4 year old's do he has zero understanding of what personal space is. Been a long time since I've had to talk to someone while taking a shit. Hopefully it's a long time before I do it again!

Negotiated well on this one,
I asked him what does he want,
he told me,
I said can I have the rest (whatever I can on top), he agreed.

Been in this gig for over 30 years, it has its ups and downs, but I'm now gonna make hay whilst the sun shines.

People adapt........

sounds like my brother in law. The sis will tell me they are broke and on their knees (catering company) yet the BIL tells me with the handouts, they've had their best year on record profit wise.

There is a cleaning company (industrial, covid, large venues etc not domestic/office stuff) advertising on the radio for staff and have been for 7 months. A mate of mines son and one of his friends have both got jobs there (ex 18 yo McDonalds so the shifts dried up) and get big hours at good rate of pay (according to them).

I deal with them, they seem like a reasonable group.
