Lucky. I went arse up last week on my front veranda, really rattled me dags. Landed on my coccyx & my head hit the doorstep. Had a headache for a couple of days, but my tailbone is still giving me grief. Finding it difficult to bend over & lift heavy items which isn’t ideal working in freight & logistics.

I’m sure I’ve got one somewhere in my shed ;)
And I was sober when I fell!

Hmmmmm...........the only letdown of the weekend,
beer that tastes like passionfruit & hibiscus doesn't cut it with me.

They do a lager and an ale that is pretty good.
Don’t worry I’m not into flower beers either

The lads at my new work place.

5 lads, the eldest one is 33 and I asked them if they observed Remembrance Day, all of them to a man said "Sure do".

Like that.

I had to tell 2 people to STFU here.
Both in their mid 40’s.

One of them said, ‘you could have asked nicely and not be mean’.

Yeah it was awesome.

Apologies to Booney, my uber was 45 minutes late and I was in a bit of a flap once I got there and you were on your way by the time I settled, I guess race days aren't the best for catching up.

JK is an absolute machine, I left at 10pm after opening the batting at noon and he was still going strong, he then went out after that.

It was a mixed bag of a day, I did alright on the punt but dropped my phone (requires a new screen), I got an uber home for my brother and me only to find the next day uber had charged me for a trip to the city in an uber x that I didn't make, fleecing my account of $70.

I went to do my washing and discovered a TAB ticket in my pocket that I wasn't sure about, took it to the TAB and it was a $184 winner.

Good times, JK is every bit of the bloke I expected and more, every bloke that I've met through here has been for the betterment of my life.

I'd sworn my Ramsgate days were over but for some stoopid reason (Im sure it seemed semi-smart at the time) I ventured back to an old stomping ground. Felt like I'd time-warped to a Blue Light Disco, couldn't even enjoy the scenery #-o

Scoring some beer chalice cheap at the little market at our local cafe's market on Saturday morning.

The leffe one, for $5, sell for about $60-80 on Ebay.

Image

Two of the Orval glasses for $10, they sell for $80 a pair on Ebay. Search this beer up, great story.

Would you ( As I type this I think it's a silly question ) drink a shiraz out of a champagne flute?

Just like wines breathe and drink better from certain glasses so do beers, particularly your big Belgian beers. Now to find some Orvel to put in them.
