Dr Tims is great - and good value, allegedly Pale Ale in a can (which is why it has its detractors). I really like it over Summer for some reason.

They use a similar recipe to produce Dr.Tims as the ydo Pale, but as Pale matures in the bottle and Dr.Tims in a giant vat they will not call it the Pale Ale.

It does taste similar but 'thinner',if you know what I mean.

Premium Light is like any other Coopers product, easy to swallow*.

Coopers Light is a terrible light beer.

Coopers Premium Light is a fantastic light beer.

Dr Tims you can get for $33-$35 a carton. For a while we did 6pks for $10 and they absolutely walked out. $34 for a carton now, cheapest full strength around, and a great summer beer.

Thanks very much everyone. I saw the Dr Tims on sale for about $35 a carton and the Premium Light was about $23-$24. I'm not a big drinker by any stretch and just got through a carton of that new Cascade Green and while leaning towards the Dr Tims I could hardly find any info about the beer so this is great.

I gather Dr Tims only come in cans?

Dr Tims is just liked a canned pale so $35 is great value.
Went to buy a carton of Pale at the local pub tonight and it was $44 yet a carton of Carlsburg was $42. :?

Was the Carlsburg brewed here ? It's one thing I can't understand. They brew a "Premium" brand in Australia under license, and mark it up at a "Premium" price....

I got a carton of Dr. Tims for $35 and it's not bad but would've tasted a hell of a lot better had I known the Alberton (I think) are selling them for $24 a carton.
