The South East will now get their turn. The Central part of the state today and the Northern part of the state yesterday.

Using the figures in the Adelaide area, this is the total rainfall since yesterday afternoon for a few of those stations:

Nuriootpa - 47.4
Edinburgh - 35.6
Parafield - 32.0
Adelaide - 31.2
Noarlunga - 24.8
Adelaide Airport - 24.2

In the 24 hours to 9am today, Marla received 77mm of rain and Port Pirie got 73mm.

The reading my rain gauge has combined from yesterday afternoon is 33mm.

The Adelaide stations reading for tomorrows recording is 21.6mm. This is a record for the 13th of December for Adelaide, breaking the 17mm set in 13/12/1916.

You poor buggers sound like that Farmer in the Corn commerical. 'Marge. The rains are ere!'. Sounds like lady Adelaide could do with a good drink. Up here I have to Mow my grass every day just so I can open my gates. That would be great if I actually had a lawn mower LOL.

REB

I've just spent a couple days in a little town called Natimuk, about half hour west of Horsham. They had over 50ml in 24 hours.

Most rain they've had in 8 years

They still need a heap more too...
