Power outage in Eastern suburbs

Postby Big Phil » Sun Dec 21, 2008 7:14 am

Hey Guys,

I live in Norwood and have just woken up to a power blackout !!??

Anyone else in the Eastern Suburbs experience the same this morning and if so, any idea when it will be back up and running ???

I'm might try the AGL website before the backup in my laptop battery goes flat...

Cheers,

BP

I'm north-eastern and I'm all good.

Have you checked your saftey switch? Just to make sure it didn't flick itself off overnight?

Yeah, that was the first thing I checked FC...

All good though, it is back on now...

Came back on about 7.30am for 2 minutes then switched off again for another half hour or so, just come back on in the last 10 minutes...

ALL GOOD NOW...

Cheers,

I'm in that area, mine went off late in the afternoon but only for about a second, but still enough to stuff all my clocks up.

That used to irritate me until I bought a couple of Sony clock-radios with 9V battery backup. They can hold for a few hours.
One of my old VCRs does the same but the other doesn't.
