Ok so i have a issue i was wondering if anyone could help
Last fridya night at pub they brought out the platters as they do every fri night at the pub...
I was extremely hungry so i grabbed a mini pie and tried to eat it as quickly as possible so i could hurry and get another assorted goody from the tray..
But when i took a bit it was sooooo frickin hot it burnt the absolute shit out of the top of my mouth, i couldnt spit it out so i had to try swallow it straight away.
Anyway long story short my mouth was burnt pretty bad and it still **** kills, its gotten worse.. whats the best way to heal it... is rinsing mouth with Warm water and salt a good idea?
Thanks

Rinse it repeatedly over several hours with your favourite beer

Ouch !!
I'm not sure that Dr Phil deals with
these kinds of issues Johno
I think you should go to the doctor??
Normally salty water is good for tooth extracts, ulsers etc, but I'm not sure about a 'burn' in the mouth.
Actually...
Psyber might know

The mouth heals pretty quickly, I would avoid the salt (would you put salt on any external burns - HELL NO!) as it could just aggravate it. Give it time and it will heal, probably just avoid hard or sharp foods.

I'd go with lukewarm very slightly salty water to make it near isotonic, and avoid anything damaging like alcohol, acidic juices, too much salt.
If the burns are superficial the mucous membrane should grow back rapidly.
If it does not settle fast - over a few days - or is getting more painful, see your GP in case the burns are not just superficial.
Ice is useful immediately after the burn to cool the tissues quickly and minimise damage, but not much use later.

I think you'd better stick to non-acidic foods for a while Johno

You go there after work Johno? A few of the Houghton lads are always in there and now that I live down that way, might have to join them.
