Is anyone else out there tired of hearing about the Flu .I don't care which one but all we hear about is the Flu.
At my workplace we use RF devices and we don't use the same RF device,we change them during the day and use different ones every day(different areas use different devices) .Suddenly we have to wash our hands in that medicated wash stuff before we touch one.
Anyone has a sneeze half the people run very fast in the other direction.

I'm sceptical about whether those medicated washes have any more effect on a virus than just washing.
They do a bit more against a bacterium which has a more complex, and therefore more vulnerable, metabolism.
My old Microbiology Professor used to grow bacteria in all the standard antiseptics and the two solutions that inhibited them most where good old soapy water , and water and alcohol [e.g. metho.]
Of course neither of those is very profitable so there are no advertisements for them on TV nor are they promoted commercially to hospitals etc.
So hospital administrators buy, and have used by cleaners, the less effective but more advertised "antiseptic" cleaning agents...

No big surprise...it's probably the one place where you can be sure of having the same people in close proximity for long periods of time and those who are least likely to bother following the guidelines of handwashing and covering nose/mouth when coughing and sneezing.

Don't know about you guys but over here the household cleaning product companies haven't wasted any time jumping on the bandwagon to put out ads claiming their products can kill the swine flu virus

I'm with you Mj ... please correct me if I'm wrong, but the swine flu is not more harmful than what we have been used to in the past with any other type of flu, its just that its ultra-contagious.

Normal hygiene practices should apply regardless.
