I wasn't a father at the time but fathers day 1989 was the perfect fathers day. One of the greatest games of all time.
The rest of the football season didn't count. :(

got back from the GC two weeks ago and it is certainly a brilliant meal.

Im looking forward to my first fathers day, the wife has bought me a copy of the 'poms to premiers' book so looking forward to getting stuck into that. Will more than likely spend all of Saturday up at my wife and mines favourite spot in SA, the Gorge wildlife park. Then off to the football on Sunday.

My first fathers day without the old fella :( . Will be a difficult day, I went to Marion shops on friday and was getting agitated with all the "dads day" point of sale everywhere.

Sorry to hear that LBT.

My Fathers Day will involve me polishing my pride and joy ( XT Falcon ) then off to a Show'n'shine for the day. Hopefully good weather and a nice drive afterwards should make my day.

Mrs.Boon could have some input too.*

Thoughts with you LBT as my dad passed away too early and know where you are at. :(

For those who have fathers that are fans of the Doggies (Centrals, not you know what ;) ) you should get them a copy of "Poms to Premiers"

Thoughts are with you both LBT and Shoe.

My 1st Fathers Day and there's nothing planned, just looking forward to spending the day with the little fella regardless of what we do.

The first couple are hard for sure....coming up to my 3rd this year and like you Shoe, was far too young (52). It does get easier though, and plenty of time to remember lots of good times :)
