Grand Angus

Anyone tried one of these yet?

I went to Maccas today and tried one. Pretty much every other bloke in the place was trying one too.

The beef is actually pretty good taste wise. On the whole I'd give it an A-.

Will probably try the Mighty Angus some time soon too.

How much $?

What's the difference with a 'mighty' Angus?

I bought it as a value meal which was $8.45. Am unsure of the price just for the burger, but reckon it would be around the $6.50 mark.

Comparison of two burgers below...

It's all shite, doesn't matter how slick their marketing is.

Might be looking in the wrong place to find a real burger.

At 11:30 at night on the way home from a meeting, there aren't many other burgers to find! It's convenience food, nothing more.

i tried one- the Grand Angus?
It was the one without bacon, but I added the bacon, because the one with bacon (Almighty Angus?) had less on it! :?

If you want a good burger, go to a small owner-operated takeaway shop.
If you want a great one, get an Ox Burger from the Oxford Hotel...

I'm now in the Stirling/Aldgate area actually, but I used to have a 20 acre property on Kangaroo Reef Rd, Hahndorf, from about 1982 to 1996.
