Spending $10m building a brewery and function centre in Port Adelaide.

Excellent. More beer!

Father in law has some pirate life ipa in his fridge I reckon I’ll try one tonight. Better live up to the hype

The basic kit and kilo stout is something you cant stuff up. Still got stout from may 2012 i think.

I dont have a foolproof dark ale recipe.

But the best dark ales ive made have had some choc grains added in. Again its just using a dark ale can and a kilo of malt and grains.

There is a craft beer in the boardroom fridge, its been there for about a fortnight. I don't like Craft beers as a rule, but I can guarantee you that one is about to come to the end of its serviceable life.

So just been to Big W

Brigalow Munich Lager. May add some hops here and go for a Stella styled beer but just a little more hoppy. Saaz and Hallertau might be the go here. Might get some US05 yeast as well.

Also grabbed 2 cans of Canadian Blonde. Undecided here. Either a toucan or separate??? May add some galaxy either way.

Mexican cervesa. Great mower beer or a sunday arvo sesh. It goes alright with a slice of lime or just a squirt of lime juice that you keep in the fridge....yeah a bit wankish

Plus still have a Dark Ale to get down...

So equivalent of about 12.5 cartons about to be brewed up!!!

The coopers kits and other brands of liquid malts, most of them are good bases to build a beer from.
If you haven't brewed a particular beer before. I'd do the basic way. Then you know for next time that the addition of some hops or fresh grain will just really amp it up.

Got all 4 brews sitting at day 13/14.
But the temp in my sauna may be 18 but my brews are between 12-16. Need to find a way to just amp up the temp so they can ferment out.
Being so cold, I fear i have stalled fermentation.

I’ve got 2 going at the moment.
I’m on day 12 today.
I put the heater on 3 days ago as it got too cold.
Seems to have worked and they are fermenting again.
