A MIDDLE-AGED man wearing gold "bling" and driving a silver Porsche is making inappropriate sexual advances to women in the northern suburbs.

Police said the man is approaching women and asking inappropriate questions involving a sexual nature, claiming to be conducting surveys. On one occasion it occurred near a primary school.

The man is described as of Caucasian appearance, aged in his late 40s, unshaven with a shaved head. He has been seen wearing gold chains around his neck.

Police ask anyone with information to contact BankSA Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Just drove back from Kilburn and got this through the e-mail..............

He should do his surveys in the Western Suburbs
Theres a road between Torrens Road and Grand Junction road
What was that song Richard Clapton sang in the mid seventies ....

There'd be plenty of interest in the surveys on the road you speak of Mal...especially between the Oval and the Pub.

Often see the man you speak of Bayman...he lives in the general vicinity of "said" road, always stops and puts his bags down to give the traffic a wave in the back streets, have also seen him wave his arms at planes flying over, he's usually always got something to say too but can't understand him. I Always give him a wave when i see him he's a harmless old fella, reckon it would take him ages to get anywhere on foot though due to his excessive friendliness!

I drove down that road out of curiousity, after going to Wingfield to pick up a pin board, and didn't see any of the activity people have described.
It was about 3.30pm - perhaps it was siesta time...

Lived very close to the "area" until recently Mick!!! One of the things I used to find amusing was one particular gentleman who used to park in the back streets waiting for the "right one to come along".....certainaly not the only one to do it....but the only one who did it in his fully painted up work van!!!
