lookin to find one as a present..
been all over ttp and no good!

i should of been more specific.
ive looked on websites etc but i need it before end of next week so cant risk buyin online etc.
just wanted to know if anyone knew any good stores around the place.

Come over to my place mate..... Mrs Choccies has about 10 that she rarely uses !!

last one i bought was on the 2nd floor of TTP and they had heaps

There is a couple of places at Harbourtown that sell Guess purses. Have bought from there before.

Strandbags IIRC.

they will use them for a couple weeks then want something new

I've never bought a handbag - I just wait for people to bring me back ones from Bali. I think Strandbags carries the Guess range, I seem to remember a mate going on about it once.

One thing female I lack - admiration of handbags ! (and shoes )

I never did understand the handbag/purse/shoe obsession of some women...lol.

My sister-in-law buys a new handbag or purse every few weeks
I buy one - don't care what brand as long as it's a good price - and then wait for it to wear out - broken zip - etc, etc before I venture to buy a new one.

Same here! My sister has all these bags and purses and things and I don't understand what she wants them all for. And I hate shoe shopping. I like clothes shopping but not shoes. I don't know why.

It's a pain in the bum taking all the crap out of your purse and transfering it to a new purse once every 2 years!
Let alone once every few weeks

Unfortunately my 17 year old daughter has the shoe obsession happening

And she didn't inherit it from me - must be her grandmother

OK, I have checked online and Harbourtown is the place to go, I reckon. There are seven stores that specialise in handbags and other sorts of bags, including the Guess brand.

Go to Bali or phuket.. great copies from 35 50 AUD = which over here you would pay at least a couple of hundred bucks for... mind you originals can be 1200 bucks up .. im off to Thailand in 28 days... gonna do heaps of shopping.. woo hoo

also Lulu Blu at Harbortown or Prospect road Prospect is a good bet
