Pharmacists

I'm hoping that someone on here is a pharmacist and can answer my questions.

1. Bearing in mind that modern pharmacists do not actually make the drugs, why does it take so long to get your prescription filled? How long does it take to type a frigging label?
2. When you buy "over the counter" medication, why do they put it in a little basket before giving it to you so that you can take the little basket to another counter to pay for it?
3. Why do they give you the third degree before giving you the medication? Don't they think that you've had the discussion with you GP?
4. In relation to question 1, do they make you wait so that you have to fill in time browsing at their ridiculously marked up "non-core" product lines?
5. Also in relation to question 1, would it take less time if the staff weren't preoccupied with their X-Lotto, BASS agent, Metro ticket etc etc etc functions?

Now, I need a serapax and a good lie down.......

Just on chemists, a chick at work put me onto the chemist in the bottom level of David Jones and its damn cheap!

I occasionally suffer from migraines and find Mersondyl (night strength) the most effective drug and elsewhere I've paid up to $17 and they were $5 at this place, apparantley they were on ACA and Today Tonight as they're so cheap.
Some places you might save $1 or $2 but I was amazed at the value at this place!

On the 3rd degree bizzo, I find all chemists different.
